Travel
(from the Vikings to Columbus to Drake to your neighbours) has always
been half about going somewhere, and half about telling everyone about
it when you get back.
Part
of the reason for the book (and the wonderful interaction that the Web
allows) is get reactions from you about where we went, what we saw,
and whether what I had to say about them was gripping and useful, or
boring and useless.
I
hope that you find the book of The European Job an amusing companion
for a few hours, but I also hope that, if you travel to anywhere we
went, you might actually get something useful out of it - a hotel tip,
a place to must-see or avoid, time-saving queuing advice - anything
to help you enjoy your own journey more.
We
all love travelling, but we also love passing on our own experiences.
When you've read the book, I'd love to hear yours.
